STAFF REPORT KHI: Samba Bank Limited (SBL) and Habib Bank Limited have recently renewed their Microsoft Enterprise Agreement deals for a 3-year period through InfoTech (Pvt.) Ltd, which is Microsofts direct large account reseller.
Azfar Naqvi, CFO of SBL, signed the agreement, while Naseer Akhtar, President and CEO, signed on behalf of the InfoTech during a recently held ceremony. The ceremony was also attended by Salman Siddiqui and Agha Jan from Microsoft Pakistan.
In his remarks, Naseer Akhtar said, “We are grateful to Samba Bank for reposing their trust in InfoTech, and look forward to deploy the latest technology at SBL for them to stay current, and make the most use of this Enterprise Agreement”.
On the occasion, Azhar Naqvi said, “The Samba Bank has taken the decision to renew the agreement to stay current on technology as per our strategic direction on IT.”
InfoTech is amongst the leading globalICT companies with an extensive presence in the Middle East Africa and Asia Pacific region that provides high-end business consulting and information technology management solutions specifically in the Financial Services Industry, Capital Markets, Tax and Revenue, e-Government, Infrastructure and Telecom industries.
Meanwhile, the second deal was signed with HBL. Mudassir Khan, CIO of HBL, signed the agreement with Naseer Akhtar.
