STAFF REPORT PESH: The Advanced Studies and Research Board (ASandRB) of the Islamia College, Peshawar, has approved a total of 75 research proposals of the research scholars enrolled with the various teaching departments of the university.

The meeting, chaired by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr Qibla Ayaz, also approved the award of degree of Ph.D and M.Phil to some scholars who have already completed their research work and whose work has been evaluated positively.

In his remarks, the VC emphasized the need for strictly adhering to the guidelines and standards of research as framed out by HEC. He remarked the student-scholars from Afghanistan should be given all kind of facilities.

He said foreign students, especially scholars from Afghanistan were the ambassadors of Pakistan in their native countries and they should be given all possible facilities in admission.
