Agriculture is an important sector of the Pakistan economy. It provides us with much of our food, the crops, and livestock that contribute billions of rupees to our economy each year. Agriculture is highly dependent on specific climate conditions.

Climate changes like the frequency and droughts and floods have posed challenges to the farmers, while warm weather could disrupt our ecosystems. The overall, climate change could make it more difficult to grow crops and raise animals in the same ways and same places as we have done in the past. The effects of climate change also need to be considered along with other evolving factors that affect agricultural production, such as changes in farming practices and technology.
