STAFF REPORT ISB: In order to appreciate and encourage teachers to use technology to enhance their skills amongst students, Intel Education Pakistan has recently organised Intel Education Award Ceremony in Karachi.

This year in the Intel Education Initiatives Award category, Chief Executive of Roots Millennium Schools Chaudhry Faisal Mushtaq received the prestigious annual Intel Education Award for the five consecutive years for his extraordinary services to bring ICT and digital learning across Roots Millennium School classrooms.

In the category Appreciation Award, Tayyaba Noureen, senior manager ICT Initiatives and Digital Literacy from Roots Millennium Schools, Islamabad, was presented with a shield and a certificate for her commitment and consistency in the field of ICT.

Of all the participants in the contest, 24 won awards in recognition of their accomplishments in implementing technology to promote inquiry-based learning.

As many as 96 teachers from all across Pakistan participated in the contest from 43 institutions.

“Intel has made consistent efforts for recognising the teachers and schools taking part in this initiative and rewarding them for their laudable efforts in implementing ICT in their classrooms, in turn facilitating a conducive environment to experience technology within the education system,” said Country Manager Intel Pakistan Naveed Siraj.
