STAFF REPORT KHI: The energy crisis in Pakistan has beleaguered number of sectors causing enormous dent to the national economy.


The need of clean, efficient, sustainable energy has been stressed on various national forums and now different power projects have been initiated to resurrect the power sector of the country on which industry and various other sectors bank upon.


“In a bid to address the energy issue, five solar power projects based in Thatta, Benazirabad, Sukkur, Jamshoro, and Larkana districts of Sindh have been launched by the government”, revealed by Government of Sindh official while requesting anonymity.


It is also worth mentioning that sixteen billion rupees have been earmarked for energy projects in the next budget of Sindh.
