STAFF REPORT LHR: Dr Saadat Anwar Siddiqi, eminent researcher, represented Pakistan in global TechConnect World Innovation Conference 2015 held at Maryland, USA. He presented his research paper whose title was Preparation and investigation of Nano-carbonated hyrdaxyapatite/polymer composite spongy scaffold for biomedical applications.
Dr Saadat highlighted various aspects and techniques of preparation of the nano-carbonated polymer and enumerated its various applications in biomedical field. He is an Advisor at Interdisciplinary Research Centre in Biomedical Materials at COMSATS IIT, Lahore and also the President of Khwarizmi Science Society.
This is one of the biggest conferences that cover almost all aspects of materials of the futures and hundreds of scientists from all over the world participated in this conference. It is the first time that any paper in the field of Biomaterials has been presented in this forum from Pakistan.
