STAFF REPORT ISB: National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has taken initiative to provide online Computerized National Identity Card Service. The public will be beneficiary of this service at large due to great facilitation.
The online systems will just a 3-step process for consumer to login, submit requisite documents and fee, and submission of application. The CNIC application will be processed and within due time CNIC will be delivered to consumer at their home.
This step was taken upon directives from Federal Ministry of Interior, to improve the public service delivery. The new system will aid many people because convenience and digitization will greatly impact on improvement of the overall process. Government is focusing on e-governance to ensure transparency in various sectors.
