STAFF REPORR ISB: The developments in science, technology, and innovation can free Pakistan from predicament time and take it to the zenith of prosperity. The Pakistan Innovation Foundation (PIF), the private sector organization aiming for S,TandI promotion in the country has launched its second cohort for beginners Robotics Legos 101 Workshop to hone the skills of students in various areas of technology at grass root level.


As many as 12 students were certified as they finished week long introductory course on Robotics logo. The 5 day workshop entailed students ranging from age 7 to 18. The students were given fundamental knowledge about programming and logic, mechanical working, robotics and artificial intelligence, creativity and knowledge. Apart from that motivational lectures and requisite pros to develop leadership skills in students were also focused during the workshop.


Speaking at their graduation ceremony, Dr. Athar Osama, Founder and CEO of Pakistan Innovation Foundation, noted that, “PIF initiative has enabled students to gain immaculate knowledge about various key areas of technology. These are the building blocks of the critical skills needed to succeed in the 21st Century”.


PIF hopes to use the Robotics Lego and other similar platforms to help create the next generation of innovators, scientists, and entrepreneurs needed by Pakistan in the future.
