STAFF REPORT IBD: Under its one-year paid Internship Programme for fresh graduates and DAE diploma holders, PTCL has selected 500 interns on the base of written test conducted by NTS.

To impart practical exposure and learning opportunities, PTCL has opened its doors to the educated youth of the country through this initiative for which around 50,000 candidates across Pakistan applied to avail this opportunity.

“PTCL strongly believes in giving back to the community in which it operates,” commented President and CEO PTCL, Walid Irshaid adding this paid internship programme would play an important role in capacity building of our human resource in the larger interest of the country. We plan to explore such innovative approaches to serve the society in the future as well,” he further added.

About 500 interns have been selected for multiple disciplines including Technical-Engineers and Associate Engineers; Sales and Marketing; Finance and human resource.

Under the guidance of seasoned professionals while working for the leading Information and Communications Technology company, the selected interns will be exposed to the best industry practices and undergo extensive training and counseling.

PTCL understands its responsibility as a corporate citizen and playing a positive role in national development by providing this opportunity to the youth of Pakistan.
