STAFF REPORT ISB: Dell, in collaboration with Intel, has unveiled new versions of its award winning Inspiron laptops. The new Inspiron 15 and 15R systems have been optimized for better performance and improved battery life in packages that are thinner than the previous generations of Inspirons.

The Inspiron laptops are available with Intels Core i3, i5 and i7 processor options, and support higher-end features like 3×3 dual-band wireless support based on the latest Wi-Fi N standards, Bluetooth 4.0, HDMI 1.4a, and stereo speakers with Waves Maxx Audio 4 processing that was introduced in the high-end XPS laptops.

The redesigned Inspirons are 15 per cent lighter than the previous generation, and 17% slimmer with the 4-cell batteries, making them under 1-inch thin.

Shahzad Aslam Khan, Country Manager, Dell Afghanistan and Pakistan said the new Inspiron portfolio delivers both power and performance, packed in lighter and smaller full-featured laptops that are perfect for everyday computing needs of families and students.

“In less than a years time we have worked closely with our customers to bring Intel-based products to market. We work closely with our ecosystem partners, across operating systems, to deliver the best products and experiences for consumers with Intel Inside,” said Naveed Siraj, Country Manager Intel.
