Staff Report KHI: Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) held their sixth convocation this week.


2,200 students from eight programmes of MBBS, BDS, nursing and medical technology and postgraduates from the 2014 and 2015 batches got degrees. Gold medals were conferred upon Tasneem Fatima, Abdul Ghani Iqbal, Irma Anis, Iqra and Muhammad Aslam.


Prof Masood Hameed Khan, Vice Chancellor DUHS addressed on the occasion and said that said that the vision and mission of DUHS was focused on three primary spheres that include academic excellence, human resource development and community healthcare. The university believes on quality education in health sciences for the betterment of health sector in country as a whole.
