STAFF REPORT LHR: The Government College University (GCU) Lahore held science exhibition with an aim to highlight research of students in different SandT fields. Poster competition was also part of the exhibition.


The posters were on different scientific themes including, nanotechnology, bio-procedure and pharmaceutical science, bio-diesel creation and against microbial actives. More than 50 posters were portrayed in the event.


GCU Director Research, Innovation and Commercialisation Prof (Emeritus) Dr Ikram-ul-Haq inaugurated the event. Ravian Forensic Society (RFS) Adviser Dr Muhammad Akhyar Farrukh said GCU held the science poster display each year on the grounds that it didn’t just give a chance to students to show their research work, however it additionally enhanced their presentation abilities and make a sound situation of competition.


The exhibition appealed various students to showcase their research and innovative work and cash in the acknowledgment of mentors which not only infuses encouragement but also improves their skills by paying heed to the valuable suggestions of maestros present on the occasion. The academia of Pakistan requires more such kind of events frequently so to stir the inspiration amongst youth for development and promotion of SandT.
