STAFF REPORT LHR: Government College University Vice Chancellor Dr Khaleequr Rahman, while commenting on securing 10 positions in the intermediate examination, has said that 2013 has emerged to be a triumphant year for the university.


“The alumni and teachers have felt proved of their excellence in academics, research and co-curricular activities at all levels. GCU orators won 175 oratory awards, our 24 faculty members received Research Productivity Awards from Ministry of Science and Technology, we have been declared best university of Punjab by HEC, our student Rafi Ullah Kakhar won the Rhodes scholarship and there are hundreds of other achievements of our students that bring glory to their alma mater,” said Prof. Rahman.


He attributed the achievement to students hard work.
