Irfan Wahab Khan, CEO Telenor Pakistan for his achievements and his company’s and services to the nation he has been selected for 70 heroes of the country. #70Years70Heroes campaign conducted nationwide from Jang Media Group that has asked the public to vote for their favorite personalities in Politics, Sports, Education, Science & Technology, Business, Media, Military, Arts & Literature, Social Welfare and more. Telenor Pakistan CEO Irfan Wahab was voted to be One of Country’s Heroes.
People have shown an overwhelming response to #70Years70Heroes campaign with high voting for their favorite heroes in all categories. Irfan Wahab Khan was voted as one of the 7 winners but he was the only one from Pakistan telecom sector in Business category. All those who have contributed to progress and development of our country and inspired us for progress and prosperity were nominees and winners of the campaign.
Telenor Pakistan touched 40 million subscribers, gained revenue market share, and launched largest 3G and 4G footprint with several groundbreaking products and services in last 10 years with this leadership. Telenor Pakistan is encouraging mission of empowering Pakistan. Advance digital services like Internet of Things (IoT), mobile agriculture services (mAgri), startup accelerator Velocity, and partnerships with the likes of Facebook, Google, Netflix etc. He invents iChamp a knowledge-based initiative for learning and training of young people to be future advocates in the Digital Age.
