Ministry called the meeting to contemporary issues in industries and exports

After the development of fourth industrial revolution Senate Standing Committee on Commerce has successfully wanted report from ministry of commerce to mitigate contemporary issues in industries and exports.
Next meeting has been summoned by the committee to appraisal the policy formation and vision of ministry of commerce to deal with realities of 4th industrial revolution, increased exports, and other changing aspects of economic ties with other countries.
Senator Syed Shibli Faraz chaired the meeting of the committee at Parliament Lodges.
“The 4th revolution of industry based on emerging technology that is digital revolution a breakthrough of nanotechnology, quantum computing, biotechnology and economic relations” said, Senator Shibli Faraz in the meeting.
Eng. Khurram Dastgir Khan Eng. Khurram Dastgir Khan said during the meeting that government is committed to introduce modern but best practices of trade and export in the country on priority bases. He added that Ministry is about to complete a law for e- commerce so that cottage industry can be promoted at international level.
The Minister also informed the meeting that government was replacing traditional diplomacy with trade diplomacy and to carry out economic goal, trained the ambassadors for aggressive trade diplomacy. PM will pay Rs 15 billion for textile sector under Prime Minister “Trade Enhancement Package” by August 15.
Chairman Shibli Faraz urged that the reviewing the trade policy as stated by modern trends in technology for growing trade and exports. He further added that revival of our trade is needed to augment the China Pakistan Economic Corridor and Special Economic Zones (SEZs).
Other attendees of the meeting were Senator Saleem Mandviwala, Ilyas Ahmad Bilour, Saud Majeed, Mufti Abdul Sattar, Mrs. Naseema Ehsan and official of Ministry of Commerce.
