STAFF REPORT IBD: National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) is all set to upgrade its website which would provide more information about skill development.

Executive Director NAVTTC Capt. Tariq Masud (Retd) has recently given directives to the Management of Information System (MIS) Section of NAVTTC to upgrade the website.

He nominated Focal Person each from the operational wings who would provide data of their wings with the approval of concerned Director General. The data should be based on facts and figures and well documented. He further proposed salient features and all stake holders links for incorporation in website, he maintained.

NAVTTC is a TVET apex body of the country, therefore, every required data for promotion of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in the country must be available for all concerned on the website, he said adding the website should be bi-lingual – English and Urdu.

It should be the best source of information, education and guidance for all stake holders of TVET particularly for an easy access to the marginalized sections of the society as well as less educated jobless youth of the country.

The ED also said that website must reflect the present governments programs and policies about youth development prominently, asserted Executive Director while taking a briefing from MIS Section.
