NAYS chief attends IYSA meeting in Sudan

STAFF REPORT ISB: Aftab Ahmad, President National Academy of Young Scientists (NAYS) and Student of University of the Punjab, has joined the 1st meeting on Establishment of the Islamic World Academy of Young Scientists in Khartoum, Sudan.
As many as 24 young scientists from 11 Islamic countries including Pakistan, Morocco, Tunisia, Jordan, Egypt, Bangladesh, Iran, Senegal, Turkey, Oman and Sudan attended the event. The meeting was jointly organized by ISESCO, the future University and Sudanese Academy of Education and Technology.
It was a very nice interactive meeting in which many issues related to science, technology and networking in Islamic world were discussed.
The President NAYS, who is also serving as Chairman of Islamic World Young Scientists Academy (IYSA), also gave a talk on the success story of NAYS Pakistan and current status of Islamic World Young Scientists Academy.
Dr. Suad Suliman gave a detailed presentation on need of an Islamic World Young Scientists Academy.
On the 2nd day of meeting, detailed discussion was done on framework and legal and regulatory aspects of the academy and a working group was established to formulate things and make this academy a reality.
On next day of meeting, the President NAYS also delivered a lecture in Istitute of Endemic Diseases, Khartoum University Sudan on “Induced Pluripotent Stem cells and their application” which was greatly appreciated by students and faculty members.
