STAFF REPORT LHR: President NAYS has recently visited Galileo Science and Technology Park in Italy and held a meeting with Giuseppe Stellin (President) and Massimo Malaguti (Director) of Galileo Science and Technology Park.
The purpose of the meeting was to learn from experience of experts about the success story of the Park and possibility to translate a similar model in Pakistan.
During the meeting, the President of the Galileo Science and Technology Park explained that the Park is working in between universities and industry.
The President NAYS explained that we have a setup to bring together new entrepreneurs and potential investors to a platform so that we could work for new startups. He further added that 90 per cent firms which are linked with our park are small enterprise with less than 20 people and this is working very successfully.
Both President and Director of the Park explained that the Park is working very well for the last 10 years and have played a very vital role to bring together academia and industry as well as a great meeting points of entrepreneurs and potential investors.
At the end of the meeting, the Director presented documents related to the park to President NAYS.
