NBPs 1200 branches go online

STAFF REPORT KHI: In a major development, the National Bank of Pakistans 1,200 branches across Pakistan have been made “Online” to improve their customer services in a professional manner.
Qamar Hussain, President of National Bank of Pakistan, said this while addressing the Branch Managers and Operation Managers at the recently conducted 3-week Effective Branch Management Training for the third batch at NBP, head office.
He said that the core banking solutions will be implemented in all major branches by the end of this year to take the leadership position in technology. He urged upon all branch managers who had come from all parts of Pakistan to attend this programme to take full benefit of the training to better serve the customers and increase their trust the confidence in NBP.
He also announced that the management will continue to look after its employees. With the Banks improved financial results, its employees will also be benefited accordingly.
The NBP Chief stated that training activities are being revamped to develop the human resource of the Bank to successfully meet the emerging challenges facing the Ban.
