STAFF REPORT ISB: A seminar on “World Environment Day” was conducted by Capital Development Authority aiming at discussing climate change impacts that are continuously hurling on the country causing serious damage to biodiversity, infrastructure and also sabotaging the efforts of sustainable development.


Planning Commission Water Resources Chief Naseer Ahmed Gillani said while addressing to the seminar that Pakistan was facing a mammoth loss of around $24 billion as a penalty of climate change and environmental degradation adversity.He laid stress to instigate serious efforts and play our part for environmental conservation and particularly energy conservation so to efficiently utilize the natural resource of Pakistan.


CDA Member Environment, Syed Mustafain Kazmi was present on the occasion, he highlighted the contributions of CDA in environmental conservation.
