STAFF REPORT ISB: The National Telecommunication Corporation (NTC) strives for international collaborations and linkages for betterment of telecom infrastructure in the country. Recently, an agreement between NTC and GEOTEL Lanka was signed for telecom services.
Sanath Jayasuria, former Srilankan Cricketer who is also MD GEOTEL Lanka, graced the occasion. Sanath is also an active parliamentarian of Srilanka.
An official agreement was signed by Major Aslam Jelani, DG Operations NTC and Sanath Jayasuria.
Brigadier Viqar Rashid Khan, Chairman NTC while speaking on the occasion said that Pakistan and Srilanka can explore many avenues of cooperation in future including telecommunication etc.
