STAFF REPORT ISB: Pakistani universities have shown a climbing trend in rankings among the international universities which is the clear manifestation of the local universities quality education and confidence the international institutions repose in them.
“Although Pakistan may not have the best educational institutes in the world, yet the local educational institutions are continuously improving in rankings among the international universities,” said HEC Dr Mukhtar Ahmed while briefing the National Assembly Standing Committee on Education and Professional Training.
The commission, he said, has been constantly trying to improve the quality of education in the country.
Dr Ahmed said that there were two types of rankings of educational institutions.
