STAFF REPORT LHR: The three-day Pakistan Plastic Show 2016, which attracted around 60,000 visitors at 65 local and international stalls, has recently concluded.


The show imparted necessary information about the industry and its products and featured insightful sessions, technologies and strategic discussions. This event received good response from industry professionals and the general public.


The closing ceremony was chaired by Engineering Development Board CEO Tariq Ejaz Chaudhry. The exhibition, held at the Expo Centre in Lahore, was orchestrated by Pakistan Plastic Manufacturers Association (PPMA).


The visitors included plastic industry professionals, businessmen, students, housewives and general public. They showed deep interest in the displayed technologies, machinery and products.


Chief Organizer of the event Nabeel Hashmi said: “It was a delightful experience to see this grand event conclude on a successful and vibrant note, as it paved the way for fresh collective initiatives, and engaged all major stakeholders of the plastics-processing industry.”


PPMA SVC Khalil Ahmed said that the show turned out to be a resounding success, as the 65 participating companies deeply appreciated the arrangements and the great response from the visitors. These participants included; industrial buyers, experts, entrepreneurs, regulators, investors and professional delegates from international and local enterprises and institutions.


Engineering Development Board CEO Tariq Ejaz Chaudhry appreciated the efforts of PPMA to organise such a wonderful and informative event he further said that PAKPLAS is the best platform for B2B meeting.
