Samsung helps KP government to encounter dengue

To support the initiative of Governments of KP to encounter of Dengue, Samsung Electronics shifting its mobile Health Van to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) taking a generous humanitarian activity in Pakistan.This mobile Health Van will offer diagnosis and treatment to dengue patientswhile working in main Peshawar areas.

Dengue fever is a mosquito-borne painful and debilitating disease. Each year 390 million dengue infections predicted worldwide and about 96 million follow-onstosickness.

Mr. Y. J. Kim, President of Samsung Pakistan, stated that; “We are sending our Mobile Health Van for supporting the objective of the local government an initiative was taken by them aimed to eradicate dengue fever.

Samsung being a socially-responsible corporate citizen of Pakistan has always remained at the vanguard of retorting to the challenges country faced.Over the past decade, many generous initiatives have conducted by the global technology leader.”

Samsung Electronics regarding social-development and humanitarian gestureshas always been at the forefront. Samsung to help in the rehabilitation of the Earthquake victims in KPK has donated 300 waterproof and snow-proof tents to “Sarhad Rural Support Programme” (SRSP) in Peshawar. Samsung has supporting large-scale initiatives to promote literacy and enhancequality of education.

Samsung is renovating schools in the farthestand remote regionsof Pakistan and upgrading computer-lab facilities in the SOS Village Schools, enabling thousands of children to access to high-standard academics and affordable education in the remote villages of Pakistan.

Samsung has launched a “Hope for Children” Program on the global scale that is supported by its 180,000 employees.
