WITHOUT ANY doubt Pakistan have a lot of hidden talent in the field of technology. Our nation has given us great icons like Abdus Salam and recently the youngest Microsoft Certified professional (MCP) Arfa Abdul Karim. Despite all this we still have a long way to go. Our neighbor country, India who got their independence just one day after we did, is growing massively, and is regarded as one of the leading technological nations in the world.
Science and technology is served as an important part of national politics, practices and extreme national identities, but sadly in Pakistan its not the case. A lot of great talents are being wasted because the central authorities dont like to get their heads around it or most of the time not enough resources is provided. Pakistan council for Science and Technology (PCST) is doing a lot but I guess not enough. The institution and industries in Pakistan can play a great, rather an important role to promote our nations technology but unfortunately because of not enough resources and technology in our institutes and industries are helpless.
There should be a proper, uncorrupted central authority to look after this matter because this is not just any issue, but honestly it is our national issue. A humble request from the Government of Pakistan to take some inters on this matter, so that our nation can so flourish and we can take our Pakistan in the list of the top most nations in the world.
