Telenor has successfully established its own cloud network. The company tested first 3G voice call and the first LTE data call that was a success making Telenor pioneers in Pakistan to develop an in-house cloud system to revolutionize all network functions.

Nokia’s Airframe data center solution, OpenStack-based Nokia Cloud Band software, and ZTE’s virtualized MSS and vitalized PGW functions has helped Telenor.

Telenor officials said that they will further improve the technology, explore and digitalize all network functions that presently make ends meet on proprietary hardware.

Efficiency of the cellular network, enhance customer experience, reduce response time and provide more time to form solutions to customer problems will be improved by Telenor Cloud network.
