Pak-Turk brotherly relations are exemplary as both countries never leave each other in challenging times said Chairman Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) Chairman Irfan Qaiser Sheikh while talking to a delegation of Turk teachers and officials from Turkish International Cooperation Agency (TIKA).

Head of Technical Education Ministry of Education Turkey, Mrs. Shennur TikA, Expert Pakistan Desk Ankara Oya Tutuncu, Country Coordinator Pakistan Mehmet Emre Aktuna, Deputy Coordinator TIKA Islamabad Ibrahim Katirci and 22 expert trainers from Turkey teaching technical and vocational education included in delegation.

Irfan added that Turkey has established the Denim jeans manufacturing training unit at Government College for Emerging Technologies Township Lahore and a Center of Excellence giving training in different courses.

Chairman TEVTA further added that master trainers from Turkey give training to teachers in different district including Lahore, Kasur, and Gujrat for 6 weeks to benefit our teachers as per international standards.

Irfan went on saying that master trainers are training free of cost to our teachers in fields of hospitality, beautician, metallurgy, and civil sector. This is the live example of Pak-Turk friendship, he added.

He also explicated that TiKA is working in textile, metallurgy, and construction sector and TEVTA desired to increase cooperation in ceramics, beautician, agriculture, cooking, child care and Turkish Language. He also said that relationship of Turkey and Pakistan is strong and cooperation in TVET sector is further strengthening this relationship.

TiKA and TEVTA working to establish art institution of Hospitality. Turkish technical expertise for our students would be valuable for them, he added.
