STAFF REPORT ISB: Realizing the enormous land significance of far-flung urban communities of Baluchistan and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, the Universal Service Fund (USF) has honored an immense aggregate of Rs 8.76 Billion to Telenor and Ufone to give fundamental telephony and information services to the number of inhabitants in Shangla, Zhob and Sibi. An agreement of worth Rs.3.61 Billion has been conceded to Zhob which is a residential community and the locale capital of Zhob Region in Balochistan and comprises of regions in Musakhel, Zhob, and Sherani regions. While Sibi part that includes Barkhan, Sibi, Killa Saifullah and Loralai has been allocated Rs. 3.2 Billion to introduce BTS towers with a specific end goal to give exclusive telephony and information services. The agreement of Shangla and Zhob has been given to Telenor Pakistan while Sibi will get the services of Ufone.
