STAFF REPORT LHR: A consultative session of water-sector accomplices was sorted out by the Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) to discuss the issues relating to water security. This was the second consultative session for ordered considerations about sweeping parameters of water security in Pakistan. Talking on the occasion, WAPDA Chairman developed the issues concerning water security. He said that the water security issue is of massive noteworthiness; however this issue has not been managed as it should have been. Masses, turning out to be rapid, is one of the principle contemplations behind sharp abatement in per capita water availability in the country and that stances more unmistakable peril to the money related change of Pakistan, he included. The session was gone to by well-known persons from industry, the informed group, policy makers etc. Despite unmistakable water-part masters, office bearers of Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) to be particular Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency (PILDAT), Leadership for Environment and Development (LEAD), Hissar Foundation were also present in the consultative session, and Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI).
