14thITCN Asia 2014 –the biggest ICT Expo in the history of Pakistan along withBroadcast Pakistan/Content Exchange Pakistan ExpoandSecurity Asiawill be held from 26 – 28 August 2014 at Karachi Expo Centre, Pakistan. Ecommerce Gateway Pakistan (Pvt.) Ltd is organizing ITCN Asia for 14 consecutive years, which is recognized as the focal point for the IT and Telecom Industry and is Approved Event from a UFI (Paris).


This year ITCN Asia has the honor of showcasing, for the very first time in Pakistan, 3G and 4G Technology at the exhibition. The event is supported by a Conference with the theme “3G and 4G – Impetus to Growth.”


ITCN Asia is the only ICT Expo of the Country that is being held for the 14thtime and has attracted more than 30 foreign companies and 80 foreign visitors.Even under the current circumstances, ITCN Asia promises to deliver yet another powerful ICT expo which puts Pakistan on the global ICT map.


For the first time in the history of ITCN Asia, Microsoft Corporation Pakistan, MIT Enterprise Forum of Pakistan and Ecommerce Gateway has joined hands together to organize a Hackathon at the event that will host 200 – 250 students/developers from different universities. They will develop different Windows Phone Apps and best apps will be awarded.


Mr. Syed Ismail Shah, Chairman, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority – PTA will inaugurate this event as Chief Guest on Tuesday, August 26th, 2014 at Karachi Expo Centre, Mr. Muhammad Ahmed Tajwar, Chairman NADRA; Mr. Kazi Abdul Muktadir Dy. Governor State Bank of Pakistan and Mr. Asim Shahryar Husain, Managing Director of Pakistan Software Export Board will accompany to Chief Guest at the occasion.


Pakistan is a country having enormous economic potential to attract investment yet the kick start calls to resolve difficult issues of law and order, energy crisis and the political stability which is vital to give a sense of secured investment. Agreeing with the point that Pakistan has suffered economy due to war on terror and law and order which deserve a supporting hand from the developed economies. The Exhibitions will project a soft image of Pakistan globally and increase trade promotional activities worldwide and ultimately the International Market will witness a growth in productivity and economy of Pakistan.
