STAFF REPORT IBD: The National Academy of Young Scientists (NAYS) is going to organize its 3rd one-day workshop on Young Researchers Skill Development at the Agriculture University, Peshawar, on March 10 in collaboration with the PASTIC and Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF). The Muslim Scientists Day will also be celebrated on the same date and a special lecture on legendary Muslim scientists will be organized in addition to the poster competition at the venue.
Earlier, NAYS has recently organized the 2nd workshop on Young Researchers Skill Development in collaboration with Center of Excellence in Molecular Biology (CEMB), University of the Punjab, where over 350 young researchers from 38 universities of Pakistan had participated.
“By keeping in view the interest of students NAYS has decided to organize another such workshop in Peshawar, KPK,” an official of the NAYS told the media.
He said that the workshop will focus on the following to improve the productivity of students’ research activities: Research Publications, Research Proposal, Research Grant, Scientific Data Presentation, Poster Presentation and Academia-Industry Linkage.
Training will be given to young researchers on above mentioned areas by eminent scientists of Pakistan, he said adding the registration is open to join the event till February 20.
