STAFF REPORT IBD: The Huawei Ascend Y300, which was first shown at a tech fair in Rio de Janeiro last year, has been launched in Pakistan. This lower mid range smartphone runs on Android Jelly Bean 4.1.1 and has 4″ Screen with a WVGA resolution and 240 DPI pixel density. The phone is powered by a Dual-Core 1 GHz processor, 512 MB of RAM and 1730 mAh battery.
According to details, this phone set has two cameras, the main Camera is 5MP with Auto-focus and LED flashlight, where as the secondary Camera is 0.3 MP. The phone runs Huawei Proprietary User Interface Emotion UI on top of Android.
“Our aim of launching this phone is to bring more and more quality products for Pakistani consumer at affordable prices,” said Huawei Pakistans Director Terminal, adding this phone is launched exclusively for a price of Rs. 13,000 and is available all over Pakistan.
He further said that the build quality of this phone is very good and the screen shows vivid images and sharp text but I am more concerned about the Battery life and how well the 512MB of RAM will perform. “We will publish a detailed review of this product very soon so stay tuned,” he maintained.
