STAFF REPORT LHR: The Punjab Agriculture and Meat Company has launched the Kitchen Gardening programme for the winter season for Lahorites, after the successful demonstration of pilot project in Model Town last year.


As per programme, PAMCO will provide Hybrid seeds, training material and technical backstopping free of cost to registered households.


“Kitchen Gardening is a low cost and residual effects free source of vegetable production so that people should adopt the method for hygienic and organic vegetables at domestic level,” said Chief Executive Officer Mumtaz Khan Manais while talking on the occasion of seed distribution.


He said that PAMCO executed a pilot project in Model Town Lahore.
