STAFF REPORT IBD:We have made great progress since the creation of Pakistan but still more great efforts are required to realize the dream of Quaid-e-Azam as the Muslim Ummah can make tremendous progress based upon his vision.


The speakers expressed these views at a recently held a seminar titled “Current Challenges of Pakistan and Vision of Quaid-e-Azam” at the IIUI, Islamabad. The event was organized by the research think tank MUSLIM Institute.


Vice President IIUI Dr. Mumtaz Ahmed welcomed the participants.


Dr. Noor Fatima, HoD IR Department IIUI, underscored the need for vibrant role of women in transforming Pakistan into the kind of state envisaged by Quaid-e-Azam as Muslim women played an active role in freedom movement of Pakistan.


Former Secretary General for Foreign Affairs Akram Zaki said that we ought to provide social justice to every citizen so that our country can progress and become Islamic welfare state.


Research Associate MUSLIM Institute S.H. Qadri explained that according to the same, all citizens of the state have equal rights and duties regardless of their religion, creed or caste, while first and foremost duty of state is to so create a system based upon social, economic and political justice.


Chairman Muslim Institute Sahibzada Sultan said that following Quaids vision is the only solution to all our problems.
