STAFF REPORT LHR: University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha has said that the university is playing a key role in development of livestock and related sectors by producing competent trained manpower and conducting field-oriented research.
The Vice-Chancellor said this while talking to two delegations from Australia and Portugal who have recently called on him at the campus.
The Australian delegation comprised Australian Aids Market Development Facility Consultant Dr David Swete Kelly and Business Advisers Ali Javed and Amina Awan.
The second delegation comprised Mega Pesca LDA Portugal Director General Dr Ian Goulding and Ali Abbas Qazilbash from United Nation Industrial Development Organizations Trade-Related Technical Assistance Programme.
