STAFF REPORT ISB: Pakistani teachers have won six medals including one gold and two silvers in an international teaching competition recently held at Turkey.

According to details, as many as 344 teachers from different countries participated in the 2nd International Teaching Knowledge Competition titled, “Teachers are Competing,” to show their skills in English, Turkish, math, biology, physics, computer, chemistry, junior section and preschool categories, the Technology Times reported.

While talking to media about this performance, Kamil Ture, Director Education PakTurk Schools, said that they have been applying an innovative approach to teaching and inspiring students; adoption of new technologies and development of highly effective ways have worked well which is evident from this success, he said.

He informed last year Pakistan had won one gold medal in the same competition but this year Pakistani teachers won one gold, two silvers, one bronze, one honourable mention and one special prize.
