STAFF REPORT ISB: Google and Blackbox have planned to gather successful international startup founders at Palo Alto for a two-week intensive programme that serves as a link to Silicon Valley startup resources and as a springboard for launching their products in the US and scaling their companies globally.

Blackbox Connect has successfully completed 8 programmes and is dedicated to developing another generation of born global start-ups, says a statement issued here by Google management.

The programme not only gives entrepreneurs the resources to grow in their home countries but also helps them understand the Silicon Valley mentality, in order to access its wealth of resources, forge parternships, and expand their markets.

“The Blackbox entrepreneur network is now thriving in more than 45 countries worldwide. With each new programme we become more energized to pursue our mission of empowering startups and entrepreneurs globally,” said Fadi Bishara, Founder and CEO of Blackbox Connect.

Google for Entrepreneurs partners Astia, Astrolabs, Campus London, Campus Tel Aviv, Communitech, Factory, Kstartup, NASSCOM, P@SHA, Enterprise Ireland, Fishburners, and iHub nominated their best startups among hundreds of applicants to participate in the Fall cycle. Blackbox has selected 16 of these companies from 15 different countries including the UK, Kenya, Canada, Pakistan, Germany, South Korea, Ireland, Palestine, India, Israel, Egypt, Australia, United Arab Emirates, Scotland and France to participate in Blackbox Connect.
