PARC, NUST-SEECS agree to boost science, tech coop

STAFF REPORT ISB: Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC) and NUST School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (NUST-SEECS) have signed an MoU to pursue a programme of scientific, technical and academic collaboration for the exchange of ideas, skills and techniques on problems of national interest.

The cooperation would include exchange of subject matter experts, scientific information, research materials, students and internships for research and academic development.

“It will also keep this information confidential to the best of their efforts,” said Dr. Munir Ahmad, Secretary PARC about the agreement.

The data and research results will be published with mutual consent as joint authorship, jointly explore funding, development and execution of national/ international projects for research and education development in mutually agreed areas, holding of joint meetings, conferences, seminars, symposia, workshops and training courses, access to knowledge, data, libraries, classrooms, labs, fields and other facilities at the institutions and country wide establishments of the two parties.
