STAFF REPORT PESH: The E-Peshawar Project has been launched under the public-private cooperation in the Peshawar city in order to provide services in education, health, agriculture, official matters and capacity building opportunities to government officials.

The project would be jointly implemented by the district administration, Sarhad University, local community and a non-governmental organisation.

Addressing a news conference, Vice-chancellor of Sarhad University Dr Saleemur Rahman, Additional Assistant Commissioner Haseeb Rahman and Chief Executive Pakistan Institute for Information and ICTs in Development Ammar Jaffri, said that a pilot project would be launched in four union councils of the provincial metropolis on experimental basis.

They said the union councils would be determined by the district administration.
