STAFF REPORT LHR: Ufone, a prominent player in the telecom industry, has entered into a strategic partnership with Punjab Livestock and Dairy Development Department under which it would help in implementing the first ever virtual governance project titled Sadiyun Ka Safar Lamhon Mein conceived and developed by the latter.Under the agreement, Ufone would provide its expertise in the telecom sector to help the department in implementing and shifting from RTA (Restricted by Time Activity- 9-5) to 24/7 availability, making it tireless, effortless and flawless.

CCO Ufone, Asher Yaqub Khan, said, “We are extending our all-out support to the livestock and dairy development in implementing what theyve envisioned. Both of us share the same vision for development, of making it effortless for the LDDD to carry out their tasks via solutions provided by Ufone.”

Naseem Sadiq, Secretary LDDD, said, “The implementation of this e-governance project would open new horizons for the agriculture sector, which has the highest contribution to the GDP, but due to several loopholes we havent been able to properly utilize it to its true potential.”
