STAFF REPORT LHR: A delegation of Agri Tourism and Development Corporation of Pakistan has recently visited CEBG Okara on dairy farming of various imported as well as national breeds.
During the visit, Commandment CEBG Col Dr. Mahboob Butt introduced the CEBG, their role in genetic improvement of dairy animals and their future strategies.
The delegation was very much impressed after seeing working of the CEBG team in best labs of the country with all those necessary technologies.
On the occasion, Col. Butt also told the delegation about the impacts of poor governmental collaborations with the organization.
Col Butt said that policies should also be revised regarding needs of the institution. Poor governmental collaborations with these types of developed institutions will adversely affect agriculture and rural community.
He further proceeded with effectiveness of CEBG research by elaborating emerging potentials of dairy products, for not only Pakistan but also explained his potential for providing CEBG products in the markets of other countries.
Tariq Tanveer, CEO ATDC, discussed innovative technologies regarding mushroom cultivation, his ideas and various aspects of collaborations in future between ATDCP and CEBG.
On the occasion, Dr. Shouq elaborated needs of collaborations between institutions and organizations, role of media for educating agricultural communities, future and emerging horizons of Agri Tourism Development in Pakistan.
