STAFF REPORT LHR: Reon Energy Solutions, a part of the Dawood Hercules Group – the largest private sector player in the energy sector, has conducted groundbreaking of the 1MW solar power project at Wah Nobel Chemicals Ltd.


The project demonstrates Reons expertise in high scale solutions to meet industrial requirements and Wah Nobel Groups commitment of adopting innovative technologies.


“The growth in this sector is driven through partnerships,” said Inam ur Rahman, CEO Reon Energy Solutions, saying the company is the most reliable long term partner for renewable energy solutions in the country.


Chief guest of the ceremony Lt Gen Ahsan Mahmood, Chairman POF and Wah Nobel Board said that the industrial sector is worst hit by energy shortage, therefore, it is of paramount importance that such captive solar projects are installed to address the immediate energy needs.


The Solar Power Project will provide sufficient electricity to meet the needs of the chemical plant.


Such projects, if initiated, will help bridge the gap between electricity supply and demand,” said Brig. (R) Shiraz Ullah Choudhry, Chief Executive Nobel Energy.


This is the second collaboration between Wah Nobel Group of Companies and Reon Energy Solutions after their project of 125 kWp solar power plant that has been functional since June 2014.
