STAFF REPORT LHR: The delegates of KPK Information Technology Ministry led by Secretary IT, Farah Hamid Khan held a meeting with Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) officials to improve the infrastructure of KPK through e-governance and take guidelines from experience of Punjab in this regard.


Chairman PITB, Dr Umar Saif said during the meeting that Punjab government will assist KPK government to usher the applications of Information Communication Technology (ICT) to improve governance and public service delivery in KPK.”


He further briefed the delegation with number of projects of PITB spread across various sectors including education, health, agriculture, disaster management etc. that have enhanced the service of respective organizations due to incorporation of ICT.



Farah Hamid appreciated the efforts of PITB and urged to assist KPK to also develop the infrastructure for better governance and improved facilities for citizens in multiple sectors.
