STAFF REPORT ISB: Pakistan and China hold brotherly relation and China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) has further strengthened the diplomatic relation as well as people to people contact due to which different companies of Pakistan and China have signed 20 Memorandum of understandings (MoUs) worth $2 billion in different sectors including energy, agriculture, infrastructure development, defense etc. An association of 35 Chinese companies has been established to encourage companies to invest in the CPEC project.
Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal was present on the MoU singing ceremony. He termed CPEC project as a game changer for both countries and imperative for science and technological advancement. Meanwhile, a two days historic convention of the CPEC Karamay-Xinjiang Forum ended with a declaration to focus on enhancing cooperation between the two countries in diversified fields.
