STAFF REPORT KHI: The creativity nurturing remains one of the main focuses of Coca-Cola Pakistan as a creative activity was organized by the Company on the occasion of International Literacy Day to collect books from citizens that was no longer needed by them and donating to The Citizen Foundation. The activity was held in association with TCF, SZABIST and the Karachi Press Club. The public participation was pulled off by social activists for the noble cause of book donation. This way the books are not only preserved but passed on to several other readers.

Senior official of Coca Cola Pakistan said on the occasion, “The Company has always stressed on community serving a part from its core product line. This activity is one of the silver linings to preserve literature, education and pull people towards reading and constructive practices and mould their life forms for intellectual growth”.

The #CokeBankABook activity was first launched earlier this year at the Karachi Literature Festival 2015, where the attending public had the chance to donate their old books to the Book Bank set up at the KLF. More than 2000 books were collected through that initiative.
