WWF-Pakistan launches hydro resources enhancement project

STAFF REPORT GILGIT: WWF-Pakistan launched its new project ‘Enhancing the Value of Hydrological Resources for Livelihood, Youth Employability and Climate Resilience in Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. The venture intends to advance high-proficiency utilization of water assets for high efficiency utilization of water resources, grow high-value horticulture plant yields taking into account business sector opportunities (to enhance employment) and rationing water to improve group flexibility against atmosphere challenge.

The project expects to exhibit high-effectiveness watering system innovations i.e. drip watering system framework; present high beneficial new mixtures of harvests; create worth chains for high-esteem mountain cultivation produce; expanding land with grain species to secure defenceless catchments; farmers, nearby ranchers and youth in nursery administration; handling and quality expansion advancements.
