STAFF REPORT LHR: The Department of Poultry Production of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore in a joint exertion with the Pakistan Poultry Association (PPA) organized World Egg Day and sorted out diverse activities course, walk, egg model making competition, fascinating verse and presentation to make care about of the stimulating estimation of eggs and its essentialness for the improvement of human body etc.


Talking on the occasion, Vice-Chancellor UVAS, Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha said that we need to begin school milk program and give an egg a day to our youths to draw in them to schools and upgrade their wellbeing and fathom issue of absence of solid sustenance and what’s more give business area to our dairy and poultry agriculturists. “UVAS gateway is always open for the specialists begin from transparent ranges moreover for accomplices of bound together industry as well”, he added.


Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha and Rai Mansab Ali Kharl drove the walk, which was started from before the V.C Office and completed before the Pet Center yard in the wake of taking a city’s round grounds Lahore. Later, egg model making challenge was also held, in which Kumail Jafri and Iqra Akmal, Jaweria Nawaz won first Position, Muhammd Hamza won second and Saba Akram stayed on third position.
