Tech City project is crucial for ICT development: Anusha


STAFF REPORT ISB: National ICT RandD Fund held 40th Board of Directors meeting on November 5, 2015. The purpose of the meeting was to review the progresses made in ICT sector and also deliberations for future programmes.


Minister of State for Information Technology (MoIT) and Telecommunication, Anusha Rahman presided over the meeting. She emphasized on Tech City project while stating, “Tech City project is amongst our government top priority. The project is an ICT improvement venture concentrating on making solid financial impact by effectively supporting start-up and developing innovation organizations to make and popularize learning escalated items and administrations. The Tech-city project will also provide virtual tenancy to incubate outside of Islamabad”.

The Board assessed and affirmed the last RFP for “Tech-city”, which is a brooding task for IT start ups. The RFP will be opened for each of the 16 residential and worldwide specialists in the field for offering who have presented their EOI before. The successful bidder will be announced latest by January 7, 2016.
