STAFF REPORT ISB: The fourteenth Regional Conference on Mathematical Physics was sorted out by Quaid e Azam University (QAU), Islamabad. The six-day gathering is being sorted out throughout the previous thirty years in Pakistan, Iran, and Turkey with participants from around the world. The gathering was mutually sorted out by QAU and National Center for Physics (NCP).


As many as 30 speakers originating from all sides of the world including Asia, Europe, USA and Africa went to the occasion.


The experts in the field of mathematics and physics stressed the need of joint researches in the conference and mulled for coordinated efforts for development of basic sciences.


The subject of talks covers an extensive variety of themes in theoretical and numerical material science including conformal field theory, gravitation, and cosmology, superstring theory, the phenomenology of high-energy physics, condensed matter physics and plasma physics. Celebrating the centenary of general relativity in 2015, there will be a particular focus on this field.
