STAFF REPORT ISB: Intel Pakistan has concluded the second Punjab Science Fair, winners of which are eligible to compete at National Science Fair which will be held earlier in the next year. During the second science fair, participants from across the Punjab province participated and presented their research-based projects in different categories of science including Biology, Computer Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.


As many as 160 students and 51 teachers registered in the fair with a total of 70 projects. Dr Sohail Naqvi, Vice Chancellor, LUMS was the Chief Guest of the event who appreciated the activity of Intel and said it was mandatory for a top notch ICT company to nurture a healthy ecosystem where IT sector could grow by manifolds.


Naveed Siraj, Country Manager, Intel Pakistan said while reiterating the resolve of the company, “Intel has sponsored the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) for almost 2 decades now, and each year we have witnessed tremendous talent flowing from all over the world. ISEF is a great platform for youth as they interact with each other and share insights and experiences which help them gain confidence”.
